This is one of the most beautiful outdoor settings I've ever painted at. The Arrowheads are magnificent rock formations near Roxborough Park in Colorado.
Amidst all the flooding and tragedy this past week in the state where I call home, it was an amazing reminder of mother nature's beauty, when she is calm and brilliant.
The live painting of the surrounding landscape at Arrowhead will be auctioned off this afternoon to benefit the CeDAR organization, which is the Center for Dependency, Addiction and Rehabilitation.
